Day #2 on the job, and it was much less crazy than yesterday, thank goodness.

I sipped on my regular protein shake on my commute in, then for lunch around noon I had Publix dip chip carrots + Sabra guacamole, along with a bean salad I made earlier this week.  I forgot to take a picture of it AGAIN, but it’s basically a mix of edamame, black beans, corn, cherry tomatoes, red wine vinegar, and some other stuff. At about 2pm I was hungry for a little somethin’, so I ate one of these adorable little guys:

When I got home, I was in a very “snacky” mood!  This happened:

Staying on track

Nothing too special going on over here today.  Just trying to stay on track!  I started the day with a protein shake.

By the time cooking for dinner came around, I was already ravenous, so I munched on some cucumbers and guac while we cooked.

My husband also had a turkey and cheese sandwich, of course, but I was good just chowing down on tons of veggies.

I ended the evening with a bowl of oatmeal, banana, and peanut butter.  Good stuff!

For dessert, my husband actually saved me a cookie he received from a Double Tree hotel while at work.  Supposedly, the hotel is known for their “amaaaazing” cookies.  I warmed it up in the mic for about 10 seconds, and mmmm it was delish!

Today I got back on track with my eating…for the most part.  😉

I started out with 1/2 a cucumber and some guacamole.

I’m babysitting my three nieces this week at my parents’ place, so we spent the afternoon at the park.  I snacked on some animal crackers while I was there, then we headed home for dinner.

Betty Crocker came out with a “s’mores cupcake ” mix.  It was AWESOME!  You start with a layer of graham cracker, followed by some cupcake batter, a little bit of marshmallow, and even more batter to top it off.  I decided to enjoy mine without the frosting, and it was still super decadent.  Delish!

Today I had a baby shower, but I was really not that hungry.  I actually felt a little gross from the 2 glasses of wine last night.  TWO glasses is all it takes now!  So I just had some blueberries, a slice of a cinnamon bread thing, and 1/2 a cupcake.

And it’s never a good thing when dinner starts with that.  I eat WAY too many chips AND order a meal.  And it’s just too much food.

I ended up just getting one tempeh taco, but I had just way too much chips and salsa/guac.

After dinner it was already about 9pm, but we met up with friends and continued eating/drinking.  We got some fries to munch on and then ended the evening with McDonald’s Oreo McFlurries.  SO BAD!  It’s so hard to say “no” in social settings with friends.  I need to just stop being social…or learn some self-control!

Oye vey, another night feeling way too full.  😦  I might skip the scale in the morning!

We had a lil party for the graduating “seniors” in the PhD program in the business school here, so of course I had to partake in the festivities!  One good thing is they had a vegan pizza pie, so I went for that, which was loaded with veggies, sans cheese.  Lots of leftovers for me to take home, too!

Nashville. Was. Awesome!  I love that town.  I’m obsessed with country music, and everywhere I turned someone was playing country music, so it was amazing.  Such a neat place!  Oh, and I had fun catching up with my high school besties, too!  We ate a lot of great food, but I managed to keep everything in check and return from the trip at the same exact weight.  I had a busy day, so here are the pics/details/cals for the food i 8 today.
